Recorded over 18 months in Dallas and Los Angeles, the album features Badu’s vocals and songwriting over The Alchemist’s production, blending elements of soul, hip-hop, jazz, funk, and blues. The project explores themes of love, identity, memories, dreams, and personal growth across four movements.
